Objective:

IDEA Health Center provides essential primary healthcare services to people living in remote and hard-to-reach areas of Jagannathpur Upazila, Sunamganj. The project aims to reduce health inequities by improving access to affordable medical care, diagnostic services, and preventive health interventions.

  Project Location:  Rowail village, Jagannathpur Upazilla of Sunamganj District.

Main Activities:

  • Provided full-time general physician services (5 days/week) until April 2025
  • Continued specialist cardiology and medicine services twice a month in collaboration with Sylhet Women’s Medical College
  • Delivered healthcare services to 300 patients during 2025
  • Provided diagnostic services to 50 patients through partner diagnostic centers
  • Ensured availability of essential medicines at company rates
  • Organized an eye camp on 24 May 2025 in collaboration with BNSB Eye Hospital:
    • 372 patients received primary eye care
    • 73 patients selected for free cataract surgery
