Part time Job Opportunity in IDEA:

Name of Post: Community Support Officer (CSO), Sylhet
Program Name: Partners For Prosperity (PFP)
Strategic Partner and Recruiting Organization (NGO): Institute of Development Affairs (IDEA),
Sylhet.
Program Funded by: MUSLIM CHARITY (UK)

Job Type: Part Time (3days a week onsite and in office), Contractual (1Year Initially, Renewable
to 3Years),

Probationary Period: 3Months.

Location: Sylhet Division (04 districts naming Sylhet, Moulvibazar, Sunamganj and Habiganj)

Key Responsibilities:
Liaison with Community Based Organization (CBOs):
– Monitoring community based projects.
– Field visit different project areas in Sylhet Division to track work progress.
– Overseeing approval, fund disbursement, financial reporting and manage vouchers.
Collaboration with Local Government Agencies:
– Maintain communication with Deputy Commissioner (DC) and Upazila Nirbahi Officer
(UNO) offices.
– Share project updates and ensure alignment with donor and Government
requirements.
Coordination and Reporting
– Coordination among implementing CBOs, IDEA and Muslim Charity.
– Organizing Workshops and online meetings for CBOs in Bangladesh.
– Hold online meetings with UK based team of Muslim Charity.
– Track community project progress and submit regular progress reports to stakeholders.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in any field (Ongoing students can apply):
– Good communication skills in English and Bangla are must, good communication skill in
the local language of Sylhet to be prioritized.
– No previous job experience is required but experience of voluntary work will be
appreciated.
– Basic Computer and IT skills including MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point and Emailing
are must.
– Creative skills like photography and videography will be treated as extra qualifications.

Salary: BDT. 12000.00 per month; BDT. 144000.00 per year
