Title
Strengthening of Household Ability to Response to Development Opportunities
Objective
- Improved availability and economic access to food for targeted vulnerable households through strengthening livelihoods, securing ability and enhancing accountability of service providers.
- Sustainable improvement in the health and nutrition of stakeholders.
- Enhanced empowerment of women and girls in Sunamgonj and Hobigonj districts from the targeted vulnerable households.
- Enhancing capacity of targeted communities and institutions to prepare, mitigate and respond to natural disasters.
Result
Women and girls have empowered. Food security achieved and reduced vulnerability from disasters. Enhanced incomes, improved health practices and behaviors.
Main Activities
Formulate village development committee, Training and support to different IGA activities such as- Cow, goat, duck, vegetable seeds, seed of early variety (BR-45) etc. Health and nutritional activities, Watsan activities, Provide supplementary food for pregnant and newly mother, Eastablish relation of villagers with service providers, Disaster preparation and protection activities.
