Project Title: Accessing Learning Opportunity to the Young, Adolescents and Livelihood Options for Women (ALOY-ALOW)

 

Project Goal: Contribute to ensure rights to education and dignity of life of children following an integrated development program approach in the hard to reach areas of Moulvibazar district in Bangladesh.

 

Project Outcomes:

1.   Enhanced access to quality ECD, pre-primary and primary education of the children in tea gardens and Haor areas of Sreemongal and Kamalgonj sub-districts under Moulvibazar district.

2.   Improved awareness of parents on Health and Nutrition of the children and their families of Sreemongal and Kamalgonj sub-districts under Moulvibazar district.

3.   Reduced vulnerability of children against child rights violation and disaster in the intervention areas.

4. Mobilized relevant resources from Govt. and tea garden authorities through         strengthening collaboration and network at local and national level to ensure the govt.   Services in our target area.

 

Main Activities: Learners mapping for ECD and Pre-Primary, Establishment of ECD centers, Sharing meeting with local community, Panchayet, Tea Garden authorities, SMC and CMC. Regular class conduction in Early Childhood Development (ECD) Center and Pre-Primary Schools, refreshers for the ECD Facilitators, Conduct Parenting Session, Meeting with Gov Officials and Tea Garden Authorities etc.
